The World Now Has More Muslims Than Roman Catholics....

"For the first time in history, we are no longer at the top: Muslims have overtaken us," Monsignor Vittorio Formenti said in an interview with the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano. Formenti compiles the Vatican's yearbook.
He said that Catholics accounted for 17.4 percent of the world population — a stable percentage — while Muslims were at 19.2 percent.

Dalai Lama asks the world for help ......
Tibetan spiritual leader DalaiLama on Saturday appealed to the world community to "please help" resolve the crisis in his homeland that has been rocked by deadly anti-Chinese protests."We have no power except justice, truth, sincerity... that is why I appeal to the world community to please help,"
"I am here helpless, I just pray," said the exiled spiritual leader two weeks after anti-Chinese protests in the Himalayan region turned bloody, leading to calls for a boycott of the August Beijing Olympic Games.
The world should not forget about the oppressive rule of the Chinese Communist government. Their people are ruled with an iron first and are shut away from the rest of the world. Each and every corporate sponsor of the Beijing Olympics has dollars signs in their eyes.......China has a potential consumer buying market of 1.3 BILLION!! Friday, March 28, 2008
SAVE YOUR LIFE - WHILE THE SCIENTOLOGISTS TRY TO STEAL IT...
I have been hearing some buzz again about the "New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Program". I just saw on television yet another piece about its supposed miraculous results and its splashy celebrity filled fundraisers. This project, co founded by Mr. Crazy pants himself, Tom Cruise, is nothing more than another opportunity for the Church of Scientology to prey on yet another group of people in need.
and now an actual Scientology produced video of the worlds biggest ego maniac, vomiting the importance of living the principles of Scientology to his fellow brainwashed minions.....Tommy Boy is sooo fucked in the head!

SALLY KERN IS A STUPID CUNT - AGAIN !!
Ms. Kern sat down for a lovely chat and tried to defend her ignorant, homophobic statements, which made world wide news earlier this month.
Just listen to this conversation and imagine if instead of the word "homosexual" she was using the words "afro american, female, disabled or any other routinely oppressed group of our population".......the nation would be outraged!
Ms. Kern should be forced to resign her seat from the Oklahoma House of Representatives immediately.

HARD TO BELIEVE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCEPT...
This photo of George W. Bush is a composite of American soldiers who have died in Iraq over the last year
Over the last five years, we have lost nearly 4,000 Americans and spent over $525 billion. This doesnt include the tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians who have lost their lives. Yet there is no end in sight. The cost of both the Afghanistan and Iraq wars is expected to reach $1.7 trillion this year.
Our veterans risked their lives for our country. We must honor their sacrifice by considering veterans’ care a cost of this war.

Ron Galella - Dean of American Paparazzi
"My job is thick with risks, threats, occasional violence and sometimes the necessary folly that courts humiliation and ridicule. But I don't care. I see myself as the Dean of American paparazzi." —Ron Galella
Ron Galella is most widely known for his photographs of celebrities and his technique, which was innovative in the mid-1950s, of catching the subjects of his photos in everyday settings or surprising them to capture their reactions. This technique, however, resulted in a lawsuit by Jackie Onassis and an injunction against Galella in 1972 after a very public trial (Onassis v. Galella). He was restricted from coming within 100 yards of her home and 50 yards from her or her children. The distance was later reduced to 25 yards. In June 1973, Marlon Brando broke Galella's jaw and knocked out four of his teeth. Brando's hand became infected as a result. Galella later took to wearing a football helmet when photographing Brando. Brigitte Bardot once enlisted some friends to soak Galella with a hose.
After attempting to take hidden camera photos of Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor poolside in Mexico, Burton's bodyguards kicked Galella in the jaw and roughed him up after discovering his hiding place.

Madonna's Induction Into The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Was a Big Mess !!!...
Madonnas acceptance speech was actually quite emotional, understated and humorous. She thanked the many people along the way that have helped her become a world wide phenom. As she said " No one could have accomplished all of this alone".
However, after all was said and done, why in the world did Iggy Pop and The Stooges perform two of her songs?? I'm sorry, but it was embarrassing. At first, I thought that Madonna herself even looked uncomfortable. Iggys performance was not an impressive way to represent Madonnas body of work. It was the equivalent of a loud thud.
Madonna rightfully deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, but an opportunity to truly honor her amazing one of a kind career was lost.
Now tell me if you can even listen to this big mess!!

Children of Beslan ...
Those Who Forget The Past Are Destined To Repeat It.

After one of many bombs surrounding the hostages detonated, a series of explosions and a firefight followed. Fire and the collapse of the roof completed the devastation, leaving more than 300 dead (most of them young children), hundreds wounded, and thousands scarred for life. Many of the children who did survive will never walk or run again. Many are disfigured, will not see, hear or smell again. Many are so psychologically traumatized that they have not spoken to anyone and appear to have post traumatic stress disorder of the kind that is seen in combat war veterans and police officers. Dozens of children became orphans and some became handicapped for life.
What happened in Beslan is one of the worst and most obscene atrocities enacted on a civilian population in Europe in recent history. Every life that was taken was innocent and undeserving of the torment and terror that they faced with unmistakable courage and dignity.
According to official data, 344 civilians were killed, at least 172 of them were children*, and hundreds more wounded. The equal number of family tombs and the greater number of death certificates suggests that the real number of killed is 3 times higher

Takashi Murakami ....
Takashi Murakami is often associated with and draws on manga and otaku, the ultrasophisticated Japanese subcultures of animation, comics, and technology. His work brings together such diverse elements as plastic models, cartoons, advertising balloons, Pop Art, and Conceptual Art strategies. Murakami uses this mass-media imagery and the charms of media communication to highlight the specificity and the contradictions of Japanese culture.

Keith Haring ...
"People always ask me: 'Where did you get all these ideas?' I say, I'm not sure, I only know that I'm living now in the 20th century and I absorb information at an increasingly rapid rate. We all do. Information, is coming from all kinds of sources, new sources every day. Technology is moving faster, perhaps, than we can keep up with. I digest information from these sources, channel it through my own imagination, and put it back out into the world." --Keith Haring
