LOL.....
Dear Mrs.. Jones, I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told Sarah how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had. Then I found one more in the back room, and several people were fighting over who would get it. Sarah's picture does NOT show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.
Sincerely, Mrs.. Smith

"NINE" - THE MOVIE....
I CANT WAIT!!
Nine is a musical with a book by Arthur Kopit and music and lyrics by Maury Yeston. The story is based on an Italian play by Mario Fratti inspired by Federico Fellini's autobiographical film 8½. It focuses on film director Guido Contini, savoring his most recent (and greatest) success but facing his fortieth birthday and a midlife crisis blocking his creative impulses and entangling him in a web of romantic difficulties in early-1960s Venice.

FELIX CRANE - THE QUEEN....
Seeing that Felix Crane was the highest visited entry since the beginning of my blog, I thought she deserved to be featured again!
I think pole dancing should be made a new olympic event!
Felix's can be seen nightly at Cirque de Soleil's Zumanity show in Las Vegas.

CAROL ANN DUFFY....
Writer and poet Carol Ann Duffy has been named Britain's poet laureate - the first woman to hold a post that has been filled by William Wordsworth, Alfred, Lord Tennyson and Ted Hughes. A popular writer whose work is widely taught in British schools, Duffy is also the first openly gay laureate. Duffy said she had thought 'long and hard' before accepting the job, which now has a 10-year term.
Duffy said she hesitated before accepting the job, which brings a high public profile and an expectation to rhapsodize about royal weddings, funerals and major state occasions.
In the end, she left the decision to her 13-year-old daughter, Ella: "She said, 'Yes mummy, there's never been a woman.'"
Duffy, 53, said that as laureate she would write "whatever needs to be written."
She said poetry "is a place we can go to for comfort, celebration, when we're in love, when we're bereaved and sometimes for events that happen to us as a nation."
