Carla Bruni-Sarkozy with her husband French President Nicolas Sarkozy, made her first state visit as France's first lady on Wednesday, with a two-day trip to Britain, where she and her husband met with Queen Elizabeth II.

Islam has surpassed Roman Catholicism as the world's largest religion, the Vatican newspaper said Sunday.
"For the first time in history, we are no longer at the top: Muslims have overtaken us," Monsignor Vittorio Formenti said in an interview with the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano. Formenti compiles the Vatican's yearbook.
He said that Catholics accounted for 17.4 percent of the world population — a stable percentage — while Muslims were at 19.2 percent.

SAVE YOUR LIFE - WHILE THE SCIENTOLOGISTS TRY TO STEAL IT...

I have been hearing some buzz again about the "New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Program". I just saw on television yet another piece about its supposed miraculous results and its splashy celebrity filled fundraisers.This project, co founded by Mr. Crazy pants himself, Tom Cruise, is nothing more than another opportunity for the Church of Scientology to prey on yet another group of people in need. The detox program is based on the teachings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, and is explained in detail in his book Clear Body, Clear Mind. It claims to flush poisons from the body's fat stores using an intensive regimen of jogging, oil ingestion, sauna, and high doses of vitamins, particularly niacin.
While I do agree with the idea that a good detox program can have beneficial results for both the mind and body, I disagree with the fact that this program is very dishonest with its involvement and connections to Scientology. IT IS SCIENTOLOGY!! The entire board of directors of this program are members of the church. It is nothing more than a thinly veiled program for the recruitment of new members and their money into the Church Of Scientology.
People who have gone through this "FREE" treatment/program have been later asked to donate no less than $5,000.00 and more to the program. All of which, will just be donated back into the church and its harmful felonious activities.
Its a big scam!!
I would say more, but I'm sure some crazy psychopathic scientologist will be landing his spaceship at my door any moment or try to have my blog shut down.
