RAFAEL NADAL WINS WIMBLEDON!!!...

WOW...Im exhausted. I just watched the record breaking 4.5 hour long match of the mens finals at Wimbledon and it was on of the best I have ever seen!! This match was a tie until the very last volley.

Rafael Nadal ended Roger Federer's five-year reign at Wimbledon. Nadal won a riveting, five-set marathon to claim his first title at the All England Club and signal a changing of the guard in men's tennis.
Nadal held off a strong comeback by Federer from two sets down to prevail 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-7 (8), 9-7. He became the first man to win the French Open and Wimbledon in the same year since Bjorn Borg in 1980 and the first Spaniard in 41 years!

Joey Chestnut has won again!! Chestnut was in the top spot as winner of the annual hot dog eating contest in Coney Island after first tying with archrival Takeru Kobayashi in a 10-minute chow-down and then beating him in a five-dog eat-off.
The men tied at 59 frankfurters in 10 minutes, before being made to gobble another five dogs in a last-minute tiebreaker.
Kobayashi had hoped to reclaim the throne after suffering a disappointing loss last year. He had reigned for six years.
Thousands gathered at Coney Island on the Fourth of July to watch the the annual event. Chestnut emerged victorious, beating 20 others who had only 10 minutes to chow as many hot dogs as possible, two minutes less than in previous years

The Advocate.com is exclusively reporting that John McCain has officially changed his position on California's marriage amendment from neutral to endorsing the efforts to PROHIBIT gay marriage.
Log Cabin Republican President Patrick Sammon (another asshole) said in a statement: "Unfortunately, his position on this amendment hurts gay and lesbian families. We obviously disagree with Senator McCain on this issue and do not believe he should have interjected himself into this state issue," Sammon said in the release. "Backing California's ban sends the wrong signal to the independents who will decide this election because it creates the impression that he's pandering to social conservative leaders."
