Ithaca NY native, David Foster Wallace a novelist, essayist, and short story writer was found dead yesterday of an apparent suicide.
Wallace is well known for his massive 1996 novel "Infinite Jest", a novel Time Magazine included in its list of 100 Best English-language Novels from 1923 to 2005.
