SARAH PALIN IS A RIGHT WING, BORN AGAIN, PENTECOSTAL CHRISTIAN....

If you think Sarah Palin is just another right wing republican...THINK AGAIN!!!
Palin is a Born Again, Pentecostal Christian and here are some of their beliefs featured in a GTG article:

1. Pentecostals believe that this world is a war between good and evil. Because they are "born again Christians," they see themselves as the righteous, fighting against the "principalities and powers" of the world that are under the control of Satan himself. Vladimir Putin, for example, is not simply a human leader in Russia; he is a tool of the devil. George Bush, on the other hand, is anointed by God to do God's will against these evil powers. And it is the forces of Satan in this country that cause people to doubt and question his leadership. Sarah Palin believes that she has been chosen by God to be governor of Alaska and probably believes that she is God's hand-picked handmaiden to lead the Christian right to victory in this country, much like Deborah in the Hebrew Bible led the children of Israel.

2. Pentecostals believe that God speaks to people directly today in special revelations. When Sarah Palin says that "many words have been spoken over the State of Alaska," she is referring to direct prophecies from Pentecostal believers, revealing God's will for the state. For Sarah Palin, in believing that things like the Iraq War and the Alaskan pipeline are God's will, carrying out these things becomes synonymous with doing God's will. Opposition is Satanic and evil and an effort to stop God's will from being done. People who oppose conservative ideology are not simply wrong; they are tools of the devil.

3. Dispensationalists (like Palin) believe in the "rapture of the church" (the belief that real Christians are going to suddenly and miraculously disappear from the earth by a direct act of God) and also believe that world institutions, such as the United Nations or the World Court, are evil and under the control of the devil. These institutions are not to be supported but distrusted and disrupted as much as possible. They will eventually become the avenue through which the Antichrist attains power on earth. (In this thought system, the Antichrist, who opposes the values and teaching of right-wing Christianity, will be a real person and will eventually become the temporal leader of the whole world. He will appeal to people by deceptively promising to do good things but will, in truth, be an incarnation of Satan himself, just as Jesus Christ was the personal incarnation of God.)

4. Most of the right-wing Christians do not support stability in the Middle East. They believe that every inch of land promised to Abraham in the Bible is to be claimed by modern-day Israel, at any cost. The Palestinians are seen as people interfering with God's plan. Many of these people believe that Islam is a Satanic conspiracy against Christianity and that there will eventually be a holy war between the Christian west and the Muslim world.

5. In their view of Bible prophecy, the whole Middle East is headed for a giant war - the Battle of Armageddon - which is the prelude to the descent of Jesus Christ to the earth, where he will then become the earthy ruler of the planet (the "King of kings and Lord of lords") and rule the entire earth with a "rod of iron" for 1,000 years. This final war will be preceded by a seven-year period of tribulation where the Antichrist takes over all temporal power and ends by God raining down a terrifying series of plagues and judgments upon the earth. Most of these people believe that the "rapture of the church" will magically take place just prior to the worst of it, so that only the "ungodly" will be left to suffer through all this. When Jesus makes his appearance from heaven, the Jews that have not accepted Jesus as their Messiah by this time will be slaughtered.

This is the worldview of Sarah Palin and her religious cohorts. They see her selection as John McCain's running mate as an act of God. Many of the evangelicals who are not crazy about John McCain see Sarah Palin as God's answer and believe that she will eventually become

President of the United States.
